A Pirates Story: Jeralyn Smith
Victoria stood at the helm of the ship looking at the sunrise. Red, orange, and yellow clouds dotted the sky the glorious sun slowly rose gifting glory to the surrounding sea. Nothing could take away the peace from the beautiful sea.
"Um... captain?" Alright fine there was one thing that could take away the peace.
"Yes, Jack, do you need something?" Jack Sparrow was the most annoying pirate on Victoria's crew.
"Take a look at this thing I saw in the crows nest," Jack tipped his head waiting for a response.
"Fine I will." Victoria's tall leather boots clicked, her black hair waved in the wind, her tricone pirates hat was tipped down casting a shadow over her beautiful face. Victoria's coat brushed her crew as she passed walking quickly. Victoria and Jack quickly reached the net. Victoria gracefully ascended the ladder/net gracefully while Jack followed clumsily.
Victoria clambered into the crows nest with Jack at her tail.
"So where is this mysterious..." Victoria's eyes widened in fear.
"Jack have you ever heard of The King Centennial?"
"No should I have?"
"Yes, it is strange that you haven't heard stories from your crew mates. Anyway The Kings Centennial is a huge fearsome ship with ghosts that can't touch you but one look at one will turn you to rock. Ahoy The King Centennial is in front of us cover your eyes and I will try mind you TRY to steer us out of this mess. Jack I can trust you only I give you my ship and my crew. If the captain sacrifices their life to save there crew the ghosts disappear forever. Goodbye Jack."
Jack watched his captain swing onto the deck he watched the ghosts board the ship he hear Victoria scream and then nothing. Jack opened his eyes and gasped his captain stood heroically with her sword pointing toward an empty sea but she was stone. Jack later ordered her to be chiseled into a helm ornament. Captain Jack Sparrow would rule the seas at least until Barbosa took over the Black Pearl.
